Betway Approved In Massachusetts, Will Launch In January 2024

The Massachusetts online sports betting license has been granted to Betway, with plans to introduce its MA app in January 2024.
During the open meeting of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission on Tuesday morning, Executive Director Karen Wells announced that she had received the $1 million application fee and the official license application from Digital Gaming Corporation, the owner of Betway.
In a unanimous decision, the MGC commissioners granted approval for Betway’s license. Prior to the vote, Bruce Band, the Director of Sports Wagering, revealed that Betway had notified him of its intention to commence operations in January 2024, during the first quarter.

Prior to Betway, the MGC has granted full approval to nine other online platforms.

In May, Bally Bet and Fanatics Sportsbook are scheduled to be launched, while Betr is planned for late March or April. The remaining six apps are anticipated to be available on March 10, coinciding with the official opening of online sports betting in MA.

Expanding its reach across the Atlantic Ocean, the company now holds licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
Betway Massachusetts is planning to launch in January 2024, strategically aligning with Super Bowl 58 and ensuring availability ahead of March Madness.
